ABOUT

Tania holds a Master’s in Music Therapy from Southern Methodist University where she also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy. As a music therapist and healthcare professional she is passionate about helping overcome adversity or trauma whether she is helping therapists grow their therapeutic skills or helping clients work towards better health and wellness. She uses over 30 years of experience as a music therapist to guide her insights and direction with her clients. She is trained in traditional Music Therapy, Improvisational Music Therapy, Neurologic Music Therapy, basic Guided Imagery and Music. She is also trained in specific protocols for treatment of trauma and most recently trained in EMDR, ASSYST, and PRESCI protocols. She is in the process of becoming certified in EMDR. Tania has over 20 years of experience providing trauma focused music therapy for victims of child abuse and their non offending family members.
